Description

This is an obscure/rare private press single from the mid-to-late 70's.  This record is #STR-101, is most likely the single that launched the label for Strive Records.  There is not much info on the internet regarding this record. Side-A of this single is a funky modern-soul tune with a disco beat, funky bass, a horn section, and also a very jazzy sax solo.  The B-side is a ballad that rather reminds me of mid-70's Chicago.  Both sides of this single were written by a D. McIntosh (a-side co-written with B. Helton).  Mr. McIntosh also arranged both sides of this single as well.  All in all, this single is VERY RARE and a MUST HAVE for late 70's modern soul collectors!!
