(CAPITOL MONO LP T968, 1957)

The holy grail for collectors of LES BAXTER's Capitol Records catalog! The cover is a camp gem; the music inside is among Baxter's most subtle and serious compositional efforts. Sounds great on vintage analog mono vinyl!

CONDITION: [jacket] Light wear to bright, glossy front cover. Spine solid; all text visible. Ditto for top seam, which has a close 2" split to its lip area. Back cover clean and bright. Some stubbing to jacket corners. A strong VG++ jacket--perhaps the coolest album cover of the whole exotica age!

[disc] Lustrous vinyl has some light surface and storage scuffs, some smudges and a couple of more serious scratches which do not seriously affect play. Original green-blue label dates this as a first or very early pressing.
Vinyl is a strong VG+ overall.
