Description

SP 8510 The Magic Bow, violin encores including Kreisler Caprice Viennois, The Old Refrain, Dinicu-Heifetz Hora Staccato, Massenet Meditation, Sarasate Zigeunerweisen, Paganini-Kreisler Moto Perpetuo, Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Rimsky-Korsakov-Heifets, Flight of the Bumble Bee. Michael Rabin (violin) conducted by Felix Slatkin

 

Jacket: Near mint

LP: UK pressing. On Side 2 there is a long mark in the opening band (Moto Perpetuo). This sounds for the last two and a half minutes. Given the nature of the music, and the fairly bright recording, it is not really distracting, although this is personal taste. It sounds very lightly a few times in the next band (The Old Refrain). Otherwise the LP is near mint.

 

 

Condition:

A Near Mint LP means that there are no sounding marks; there may be one or two very light surface non-sounding marks, but the LP has had little if any discernible play, shows a high gloss, and has no repeated tics or sign of aural wear.

Any other rating will be specifically described.

A Near Mint jacket will be whole and undamaged, with no significant discolouration.
