BEEN A WHILE BUT AM BACK TO RECORDS. I COMBINE MY WEEKS AUCTIONS AND STORE BOUGHT RECORDS. YOU WILL SEE THAT SOME OF MY RECORDS HAVE A NUMBER STICKER ON THEM. I STARTED TO STEAM THEM OFF. THEY CAME OFF PRETTY EASILY BUT I HAVE SO MANY THAT I WOULD NEVER GET THEM UP.

RITCHIE VALENS, DEL-FI LABEL #D-101. "LA BAMBA, WE BELONG TOGETHER" B/W "DONNA, FRAMED". Vinyl VG++. A very very slight warp. Does not effect play at all. There is a way to fix this but I have not mastered it yet. Label clean. Sleeve has a split down the right side. The is wear on top. Small tears on top. No writing. This is a very very rare and hard sleeve and record to find. Limited edition. It says on top Del-Fi souvenir autograped. I am guessing it is printed. It may be real. I just do not know because this is the only one I have ever seen. Real or not this is very rare. Has both of his big hits on it. The song "Framed" I have never heard on anything else but this ep. Really cool song!!!!!!!!! Fantastic guitar!!!!!!! In fact all 4 songs are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Recorded in 1959. SEE BOTH SIDE'S OF LABEL AND SLEEVE IN PHOTO'S BELOW.  This is a original pressing.

I HAVE ALWAYS STORED MY PICTURE SLEEVES AND LP'S AND THEIR RECORD SEPARATE FROM EACH OTHER SO NOT TO LEAVE RINGWEAR OR SPLIT THE SEAMS  I PUT THE RECORD IN A WHITE SLEEVE AND THEN BOTH INTO A NICE 45 PLASTIC SLEEVE. BUT OF COURSE IN SOME CASES I HAVE BOUGHT THE SLEEVES USED AND THE RECORD WAS KEEP IN THE SLEEVE. I KEEP MY LP'S THE SAME WAY.

I TEST ALL MY RECORDS ON A NEW NEEDLE. WHEN THEY LOOK CLOSE TO MINT I MAY DO PART VISUAL. IF THEY ARE A RARE RECORD THEY ARE ALWAYS PLAYED THRU BOTH SIDES.

MINT- / Played once or twice. Label clean both sides

VG++ / Close to new. A couple of marks here and there. Very glossey, plays clean

VG+ / Few surface scuffs or light marks, plays clean.

VG / Has surface scuffs or surface scratches. Plays pretty well with some background noise

VG- / Very hard to find record that will play through decent until you are lucky

            enough to find a clean one
