HELLO BIDDERS! It is summer, time for our semi-annual blowout sale. Twice per year, once during the summer and once around the Christmas/Holiday season, we auction some of the rarest and best items from our personal collection. We will list these once or twice AT THE MOST. If they do not sell, they will go back into our collection for the Holiday sale, or they will simply be sold privately. So if you find something that interests you, bid on it, because it may be your only chance to win it. As well, any item(s) totaling over $200 on any once invoice will be mandatory to ship SIGNATURE RECEIPT or REGISTERED, based on destination. NO EXCEPTIONS. KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU BID. Please consider this your official notice, as we will NOT accept any excuses of you not having read this memo. We, and MANY fellow Ebayers have been having much difficulty with the Italian Post and Customs over the past few months. Seemingly, people have been claiming that their packages are not arriving, even though the U.S. Post confirms that they have arrived in Italy. So, either it's a scam, or many more packages are being held up at Customs. Either way, I refuse to pay reimbursement for items the we have receipted proof of  having been shipped. Again, please KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU BID, because there will be NO excuses accepted. No excuses, no exceptions. If you accidentally bid and win, you will be held accountable or suffer the consequences of NPB strikes against your account, and possible suspension. We apologize for this inconvenience and for sounding so curt, but we are tired of being ripped-off and losing money for items we have proved shipped to Italy.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR:   SOUTHERN STEEL - "GET ON THROUGH," MEGA-RARE PRIVATE 70's GARAGE PSYCH LP PRODUCED BY R.C. LEON ON EARTH RECORDS. ORIGINAL THICK,SHINY VINYL, "DEEP GROOVE" PRESSING! "This is a super rare KILLER Florida Rock Psych Garage lp from the early 1970s by SOUTHERN STEEL --the 1st band produced by legendary CRAIG LEON (on the short-lived "Earth" label--their only Lp) & who went on to produce punk rockers RAMONES, SUICIDE (and BLONDIE!). Titled "Get On Through" On Earth Records E-00003. Craig Leon: "Craig Leon was a visionary producer in the '70s who discovered and/or recorded punk/new wave icons RAMONES, SUICIDE, BLONDIE, RICHARD HELL & THE VOIDOIDS, MOON MARTIN--among many others. He was born in Miami, Florida & as a teen he played in a succession of unknown bands and did some session work as a keyboardist. Eventually, he built his own demo studio with the help of his friend, the late producer Alex Sadkin (Bob Marley) and recorded local bands. SOUTHERN STEEL was his FIRST PRODUCTION. Later, in 1975, Leon was invited to see a show with two bands named "Talking Heads" and the "Ramones". LEON: "I went to that show and there were literally 4 people in the audience besides me, but the bands were phenomenal. With the Ramones, I scouted them and then I had to develop them." As it turned out, the RAMONES first album is considered by many to be the first real American punk record.  SOUTHERN STEEL: In the early 1970s, an ad appeared in the Miami Herald "Original bands wanted for new record label". After submitting an 8-song demo tape, SOUTHERN STEEL was chosen as the first (and only group!) to be signed to Earth Records out of North Miami, Florida. Two North Miami Lawyers decided to break into the music business & wound up starting "Earth Records." A recording studio was built on NE 7th Ave where SOUTHERN STEEL rehearsed and worked on their album. SOUTHERN STEEL was Jim Goodman on guitars, bass, lead vocals and songwriter; Spike Warner on lead and slide guitars; Ed Olszweski on lead and bass guitars and Greg Orsini on Drums. Their first studio effort "Get On Through" was recorded in 2 days at Critera Studios in North Miami and was produced by Craig Leon! Cover is in pretty nice-very nice-excellent condition. LP is in excellent condition. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY, PLEASE! 

Items are visually graded under a T-4 halogen lamp, unless otherwise specified. Domestic insurance is optional at $1.75 per $50 of insurance. International insurance is available upon request and will be quoted only for international destinations that do not restrict insurance provisions. Any unrestricted insurable international package weighing over 4.2 lbs. will be sent via PRIORTY airmail international, and automatically insured at NO extra cost. Seller is NOT liable or responsible for any lost,damaged, stolen, or uninsured item(s), be it by restriction of country's uninsurability or  buyer's choice to NOT insure. We are also not liable for Customs delays or Customs duties or taxes. If you file for an unisured or shipped  item not received, and we can prove shipping via a USPS postal shipping receipt, you will no longer be allowed to bid on our items. We are honest, ship ALL paid items, and have receipts to prove it. However, it is NOT our responsibilty to deliver the packages or be held liable for items not received that have been proven shipped.

All VINYL sales are final, unless an item is defective, and proved so on our equipment. We do not refund for a difference in "grading opinion." Defective items must be returned within 30 days of auction end to be eligible for purchase price credit.
