This the UK Original of 'Southern Comfort' by Southern Comfort. This 1st press is complete with the earliest A-1U/B-1U matrix, the original green Harvest labels and earliest textured Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve.
The records is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is absolutely sensational, every track gleams like new. You can twist and turn this album under every light and you will see just a couple of the very slightest hairlines, it is in the most wonderful condition. The labels are also sensational. The green is completely unworn, the colour is crisp and bright and there is no spindle wear. We played this album and we are pleased to say it sounds as good as it looks. Exceptional audio seperation; on our turntable it is clear, rich and vibrant. There are moments of light noise but these are insignificant and certainly does nothing to spoil the enjoyment of the album at any point.
The textured gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The white is bright and the blues are bold. There are a couple of creases and a some edge and ring wear. On the inside the photos are still extremely sharp and unworn and the text is clear. The lightweight cover is still solid.
