Talk about RARE! Here’s one for you! This is a Private Issued 1970 Self-Titled LP by Appleton, Wisconsin Psych Blues Rock group SOUP! Released by Arf Arm Artists the group consisted of members ROB GRIFFITH-Drums, Mouth Harp & Vocals, DAVE FAAS-Bass Guitar & Vocals and DOUGLAS (DOUG)YANKUS-Guitar & Vocals! Also, JIM PETERMEN(Steve Miller Band) plays Piano on a couple tracks! There are only three Songs listed on the Cover Sheet SIDE ONE-“Mailman, Bring Me No More Blues”, “I’m Just Not the Man to be Tied” and SIDE2-“I’m So Sorry”! Actually. there are two more songs on Side One! “Black Cat Blues In Melody” and “Tennessee”! These were all DEMOS! They sound a little like early KINKS! Each one is fantastic and the guys jam a little on each! And speaking of Jamming! The entire Side 2 is the LIVE song “I’m So Sorry” which has some truly Phenomenal Guitar work by Yankus! It is said that JIMI HENDRIX learned of Yankus's Guitar prowless and went to see the Band play in Milwaukee!

The Cover is in NM Condition! It consist of a simple cardboard Sleeve with a Yellow Photocopy Sheet of the Band’s information stuck to the front! The Record is in NM Condition! Really Sweet! Warm Rich Tones! A Very High Fidelity Recording! And the Musicianship is Really Outstanding! After listening to it I can see why this goes for big bucks! There is also a very odd insert paper that came in the album! Possibly from the Band‘s manager? A one JOE PETITO! (*Please note: I have blocked out the phone number on the photo for legal reasons) Not sure if it actually came with the Album or not but it was inside so I’m including it! This Album is SUPER RARE and goes for well over $100 and that’s when it comes up! Being offered here at a Low Starting Price & No Reserve! This would be a real gem in any Psych Blues Rock Collection so don’t miss it!
