Description
This is an original '57 thick, heavy, rigid vinyl lp on a small custom label called: WINSTON LINK RAILWAY PRODUCTIONS. No number on labels, trail off or cover. There are many different train sounds you will hear. Also, the photos used on the cover were made on the NORFOLK & WESTERN RAILWAY. By O.WINSTON LINK over a period of 3 years. The night scenes are very special, they were taken with custom built reflectors and power supply designed to synchronize cameras and flashbulbs over tremedous areas at night while the trains were in action! The recordings on the lp were made at the picture locations and in most cases the sequence is illustrated by the same train that provided the sound. The insert is a fold open sheet taken from the San Francisco Chronicle on one side is a review of the record. The lp is in the most beautiful condition, Labels and vinyl look brand new, insert also like new, cover is made of thick cardboard it has a paper sticker on back, bottom seam has small split, there is a black marker number on glossy laminated front. It should come off, I did not try to take it off. It does not affect the beautiful nighttime shot on the cover. Spine is in great shape with no splitting or flaking, top seam also strong.
