Description
Very limited 1987 BLUE vinyl pressing by SUB POP (catalog 12A / matrix #R-10866 / #R-10867) of SOUNGARDEN'S debut release, "HUNTED DOWN b/w "NOTHING TO SAY" on a 7" vinyl 45, including original blue sleeve. It is widely regarded as the rarest Soundgarden release (limited to 500 copies) ever, and perhaps the rarest of all Sub Pop records, also. It was never re-released until today, as Soundgarden's first "reunion" project on black vinyl...23 years later. This copy was purchased by me as a Mint condition & unplayed copy over 10 years ago; it has since been stored in a controlled environment, and I have never played it myself, so I would say it's in its virgin (pristine?) state. The blue sleeve does have some minor bends &/or creases, but nothing major. I believe this record to be nothing lower than a Mint- (M-) at worst, and the blue sleeve as VG++, but please feel free to ask any questions before bidding! Of course, I absolutely guarantee its authenticity.
I've been collecting vinyl for quite a few years now, and though I'm not an exactly an expert, I've pretty much gotten the hang of how most dealers (and sellers) seem to rate their records. I will be auctioning off more vinyl rarities in the near future if interested.
