S.O.U.L. "WHAT IS IT" LP MUSICOR 1973

Rare Original Pressing from Musicor Records.

Vinyl: Side 1 is in pretty good condition, with the exception that it has what looks like to be a couple cigar burn marks which I tried to get as good of a piture of...Those portions of the tracks can not be played, which unfortunately also includes the sought after 'Burning Spear' track sampled by Pete Rock, the rest of the songs play pretty well, but there are quite a few scratches on both sides as well, but nothing that I would say really affects the playback, at least nothing like those burn marks.

*However, Side 2, I would say plays Very Good although again, it has many surface scratches. The 1st track on that side titled 'Soul' has a very nice open drum break at the beginning (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzQbPAeztZ8&feature=related)...this is the reason I actually bought this record on ebay a while back for close to $60 because a copy in really good condition usually sells anywhere from $250 to $400. I do not need the record any longer which is why I'd like someone else to have it that can get some use from it. But again, this is an original pressing.

As for the cover, I never had the original unfortunately...this is how I bought it. You will get the exact record you see in the pictures, sold as is.
