SOUL VENDORS ON TOUR - V/A (Studio One)

Great Various Artist LP from Studio One, on the Coxsone label and released in the UK from the short-lived operation on Willesden High Rd, NW10. Although the cover is clearly the one for the UK release, and the record has the matir number CSL8010 printed on it, I imagine this is a later release than the blue UK Coxsone release which I believe was the first issue. As so often with Studio One it is hard to ascertain what brought about this release, it looks like JA pressing in a UK sleeve, but I can't be sure. The music contains 12 tracks that featured in the Studio One tour of the UK - see the rear sleeve notes.  Contains killer tunes, including The Lecturer, Give it to me, Pressure & Slide, and my fave, the killer instumental Full Range, which is a different mix to the one on another Studio One LP, this one has the horns bit all the way. The first side is pressed slightly off centre but if you check the clip it doesn't reallt affect the sound. Cover and Vinyl are excellent, check the clip....
