**** as compiled on Will Quantics 'Worlds Rarest Funk 45s' on Jazzman Records and recently reissued on Keb Darge & Kenny Dopes KAYDEE label ****
The incredible Stay Together was the first song ever written by bandleader Clay Drayton and it made it as the only 45 to be recorded by the NJ band. A truly explosive piece of super heavy soul, the fuse is lit with a novelty intorduction which detonates a funk bomb of immense propotions.
Drayton remembers "the wild intro was inspired by Sly & The Family Stone's 'Sing a simple song'. They were my favourite artist at the time. Most of the songs written during that time were about peace and love, i followed that trend". - JAZZMAN RECORDS REVIEW.

*** one slight scuff on A side and a couple of small scuffs on the B side WHICH DO NOT EFFECT PLAY! I have played this through once and it sounds AS NEW!! Otherwise in pristine condition with a lovely groove gloss and labels. I mention this due to the rarity of the item and for clarity - IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND (I'M THAT CONFIDENT!) ***

M: Mint as new. Factory fresh. (practically NO records meet this!)
NM: Near Mint, nearly new, played once or twice (not many records meet this)
EX: Excellent, no marks, played several times.
VG: Very Good, some light handling marks / wear plays perfectly well
G: Good, medium handling marks / wear, plays OK maybe with some light noise interference, without jumping or skips
F: Fair, heavy handling marks / wear, will play OK but with some light noise interference
