Description

SOUL 45 GLORIA JONES ACETATE 1968 UNRELEASED???   AAA SELLER PICTURES ARE WORTH A MILLION WORDS!  gloriaJones.GIF  DESCRIPTION

Single-sided reference acetate from Gloria Jones, of "Tainted Love" fame, "Dirty Old Man" (Liberty Reference Acetate) dated 5-2-68. Clocking in at about 2:30, this mono mix is funky uptempo soul with blues guitar. Not ever pressed as a single, nor can I find any reference to inclusion on an LP. Unreleased???

Acetates have a very thin lacquer film that is prone to surface cracks (think varnished antiques). This has some but they don't get in the way. Acetates do not have the "play life" of vinyl or styrene and should not see a lot of turntable time anyway.

Note: This disc is about 8" across, making it too big for a 45 box. It will be custom packaged to arrive safely at an additional cost of $2.50.
