Sinister Soldiers

Century Records 45484

Here is a vinyl copy of the very rare and much sought after LP "Sinister Soldiers" by Sorcery. This LP was a private press out of Illinois. The record was recorded at Northwest Studios in Barrington, IL 1978. This is an original copy with the small neatly placed stickers on the top and bottom of the spine. The Century logo has been nicely cut out and pasted on all four labels. There are no seam splits but the jacket does show normal shelf wear at the corners. The vinyl is in VG++ condition with a limited amout of scuffing. The LP rocks and the sound is great.

 

On Aug-11-11 at 15:55:13 PDT, seller added the following information:

I HAVE BEEN ASKED MANY TIMES ABOUT A FEW THINGS ON THIS LP. TRACK 1 DOES NOT HAVE A SKIP IN IT. THERE ARE TWO STICKERS ON THE SPINE BUT THERE IS NOT A STICKER ON THE BACK COVER. I DO NOT SEE circle P 1978 CENTURY RECORDS, INC. ANYWHERE ON THE BACK COVER IN PRINT OR ON A STICKER. THE GATEFOLD CARDBOARD IS VERY THICK. ALL FOUR LABELS ARE RED WITH CENTURY RECORDS STICKERS AT TOP. THE NUMBERS IN THE DEAD WAX ARE HAND WRITTEN NOT MACHINE MADE.

MY CONFUSION IS WITH NO STICKER OR PRINT OF circle P 1978 CENTURY RECORDS,INC. ON THE BACK COVER. THE LP WAS PART OF A VERY LARGE & VALUABLE LATE 70's EARLY 80's METAL COLLECTION.

THERE'S NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION ABOUT THIS LP TO ANSWER THE QUESTION OF WHY THERE IS NO circle P 1978 CENTURY RECORDS, INC. ON A STICKER OR PRINTED ON THE JACKET.  I BELIEVE THIS TO BE AN ORIGINAL COPY UNLESS ANYONE OUT THERE CAN TELL ME WHY IT'S NOT.

WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS THAT WERE ASKED AND ME CHECKING THE LP OVER AND OVER A SMALL SEAM SPLIT HAS OCCURED FROM THE MOUTH TO THE MIDDLE THATS ABOUT ONE INCH LONG.
