SONNY ROLLINSLabel & Number:
BLUE NOTE BN 1542 ORIG. MONO D.G./ LEX. Flat EdgeVinyl Grade:
The LP is in EX+ condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nice but has many surface type marks, some of which play with the occasional light sporadic background noise which is not audibly intrusive. Audio quality far outweighs any appearance flaws.
Jacket is in EX condition.
Heavy, original, framed jacket is ok with moderate to heavy seam wear, NO SPLITS. The back is fine with a long tear in the right margin which slightly obscures a few of the words in the liner notes (as seen in the image).Pressing Comments:RVG and Plastylite [EAR] in dead waxNotes
Our Grading System
Record Grading Codes
N/N- = Virtually flawless in all aspects, with original sound fidelity. Record appears unplayed.
Jacket Grading Codes
NM = Near Mint. Exceptional condition and sound fidelity, with minor (if any) visible signs of use.
EX+ = Excellent Plus. Near new label and jacket appearance, showing careful usage. Topical surface marks may exist, such as paper sleeve marks, and other signs of incidental handling that will not cause intrusively audible surface noise. Audio quality far outweighs any marginal appearance flaws.
EX = Excellent Condition. Appearance shows moderate use, but a good degree of enjoyable play is available; the record shows reasonable care in handling. Audio is only lightly affected by intermittent surface noise, and music retains its full spectrum of fidelity, with no mistracking. What we call a listener's copy.
NM = an LP jacket showing little or no wear, with no marks on front or back. Seams, spines, corners are not worn to any degree. Lamination completely intact.
Shipping InformationPLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE SO THAT WE CAN CALCULATE MOST AFFORDABLE FEES! All LPs and CDs are packed with foam and shipped in heavy-duty cardboard boxes to ensure their safe arrival. Most items are placed in either mylar sleeves or bubble wrap for added protection. All records are professionally cleaned and delivered in plastic sleeves, with records separated from jackets, thus protecting the jackets from splitting during shipment.
EX+ = Record jacket that shows only light and topical wear, typically acquired during years of normal careful storage and usage. Reasonably fine appearance can be expected, with no repairs or seam and edge damage.
EX = a record jacket that has acquired a little more shelf and storage wear, still retaining its original structural integrity. Small seam split repairs, light corner and edge wear likely.
Note: + or - may be used to indicate slight variations in quality within each rating.
Record jackets are equal to disc condition with exceptions noted. All efforts are made to accurately denote record and jacket conditions. Records are graded aurally and visually and are professional cleaned, when needed but above all guaranteed to conform to the grade assigned.
