Description
For sale is a nice copy of scarce Sonny Rollins lp "Volume 2", on the blue and white deep groove Blue Note label, BLP 1558, West 63rd address, RVG and ear in dead wax.
Cover rates VG-... seam splits on 2/3rds of the left seam, 3 inches at the top of the right seam, one inch along the right hand corner of the lower seam. There is a chip in the front cover (see photos above), light wear, etc. Vinyl rates a nice VG. I actually consider that a decent grade... there is some background hiss at the beginning of both sides, during "Misterioso" and some of the lighter passages, light wear... scuffs, a couple spindle marks, etc... but no "feelable" scratches. While not a pristine trophy copy of this lp, it is a nice playing copy. PLease see my other auctions for more rare jazz lps up this week.
