Description

Up For Auction - A clean sounding copy of Sonny Rollins Tenor Madness Prestige 7047 Mono first pressing with 50th St. address. John Coltrane & Paul Chambers guest on this lp! Jacket is VG+, front still has a fine gloss to it with very little ring wear, back shows a just little of ring wear. Record plays VG++ but looks VG. There are ’handling’ blemishes; VERY light surface scuffs- NOT deep in grooves, and there are ’rub off’ blemishes from the rare original wax paper inner sleeve (included, but ripped at top). The wax rub off is noticeable (even in pic) but does not affect play at all! NO major pops or ticks during play! There are very few center hole (alignment to spindle) marks around the label There is even rarely found VINYL FLAKES in the label’s center hole- an indication that this record has only been played a few times! This first pressing of this record books for $300 near mint in the 2004 Goldmine Jazz Records Price Guide. This copy is EASILY worth $200. Winning bidder pays $5.00 postage, international varies. Pay by paypal, money order, or check (must clear)
