Description
Orchide Records (OR-1002) 1978 7" 33 rpm single release from SONIC'S RENDEZVOUS BAND. Tracks are a double A-Side (Mono / Stereo) of: CITY SLANG.
The legendary release is considered by many to be the high water mark of high energy Detroit Rock & Roll which is saying something. The Detroit supergroup included members from MC5, The Rationals, The Up and The Stooges.
VG condition vinyl with some light scuffs and a few micro-scratches. The vinyl itself does have haze that resembles a starburst pattern but does not seem to adversely affect play. A couple of small label scuffs on one side. VG sleeve - a few light stains and light ring marks. No tears or splits. This pressing usually has a numbered sleeve between 500 to 1000. I don't know why this one does not but it did come from an associate of the band so I suspect some un-numbered copies may have distributed internally.
It's not a perfect copy but when the needle drops and the bass line starts, you don't notice! The sound file is taken unaltered from the offered single.
