This actual copy held the #1 spot on the G45 Legends G100 listing, the latest/last(?) update 10+ years ago, used to belong to Tim Warren who used ”Diddy wah Diddy" on a Back from the Grave and ”Nobody to love” on a Teenage shutdown volume.
#1 - Sonics Inc - Diddy Wah Diddy / Nobody To Love (Sonics Music Ltd. SP0003) S4/R5/L4 see-it one known copy, and it's pretty hammered! Surely the rarest record on the entire Back From The Grave series. However the search for copies of this 45 has been over a much shorter period than other mid 60s rarities. Traded this copy with legendary collector Mark Taylor in Australia, he found an upgrade hence why he did trade it to me. "Tim Warren rated the disc vg minus when he sold it to me. I rate it G+, and it has some random clicks, crackles and pops, but no really bad repeating scratches. Visually it has all kinds of scuffs and scratches, but none of them are bad enough to spoil the music. I would not call them deep scratches but it’s a matter of opinion, and I was happy with it when I did not own a better copy.” Mark Taylor paid 6k for this copy when he bought it from Tim Warren years ago.
At the moment 3 copies are known with sleeve including one with a crack and two known w/o sleeve this + another.
The guys all attended school in Thailand, as their parents all had govt or govt related jobs which relocated them overseas for a certain amount of time.
Each of the members came from a different state in the USA. .
And this was recorded in Thailand and only available there.
