Solstice. Self-Titled LP.
DESCRIPTION: Solstice E-411 Stereo 1977. Local Minnesota Jazz Fusion. Band is a 6-piece with a rhythm section, soprano/alto sax, trumpet/flugelhorn and a vocalist. This LP is from a collection that we will be auctioning over the next several months. The former owner was a great believer in taking care of his collections, and all of the records reflect that. See pictures for contents.
CONDITION: On most of the records in this collection, the former owner taped plastic record covers/bags over the covers. He taped them to the inside of the cover, then folded over and taped any excess at the top or the bottom to the bag, so no tape touches the outside of the cover. Because of the tape, and because we believe in strict grading, the covers grade down to VG, when most of them are actually M-. On many of them, the tape has come loose with no ill effect, but we have left the bags on. All of that being said, this cover has no bag. Cover is VG+ with a 2" tear in the slick on the spine, bumped corners, wrinkling, creasing, edgewear and other normal wear. Labels are M-. Vinyl is visually M-. SPOT play-graded M-. Nice!
