SOLSTICE - Halcyon 10" + 7" Testpressing Anathema Candlemass Pentagram
You're bidding on two original SOLSTICE white label testpressings. These are original copies of the highly acclaimed HALCYON recording sessions. Some of the finest epic doom metal in the vein of CANDLEMASS, COUNT RAVEN, SOLITUDE AETURNUS, PENTAGRAM or WHILE HEAVEN WHEPT.
These recordings were the bands long awaited follow up to their superb first album LAMENTATIONS on CANDLELIGHT RECORDS and were supposed to release on STORMSTRIKE RECORDS. For several reasons those recordings never saw the light of day on STORMSTRIKE RECORDS and got later released by some italien label as a CD only release.
This is and will be your one and only chance to own this piece of epic doom metal history! You can be sure that this pack of testpressings will appear up here once and will be forever gone from then on! Only 10 copies exist of both the 10" and the bonus onesided 7"! While 5 copies of each pressing went to the singer of the band, 3 copies of each pressing were given away to close friends of the label. 2 copies each remained at the labels HQ. One copy each is up for grabs now!
As stated before the 10" was released on CD. From what i know the song on the onesided 7" never saw the light of day. It's SOLSTICE bustin out MANOWAR's GLOVES OF METAL.
