The Solitude FX pairing of Marc Schaffer and Orpheo Weidelt are no strangers to the Gooiland Electro/Enfant Terrible axis, first appearing on the Dutch operation in 2006, and then a year later dropping a self titled mini LP under their Solitairen Effekten project. After a recent turn out on the We Are Enfant Terrible compilation, Solitude FX now graces the label with their debut album proper in SFX. Fans of that vintage Cold Wave sound that lived out through the late '70s and early '80s tape scene will find much to enjoy in this ten track set, with the spectral euphoria of "Walking With Shadows" and incandescent melancholia of "Science Fiction Of Hearts" particular highlights.
