Description

Here I have on offer a copy of a BBC Transcription Services recording from 1972 of Soft Machine with introductions from Alan Black. ("Stereo Pop Special-23").(In fact AB makes several appearances across the concert introducing the tracks.)

There is no track sheet for this one but the track names are written on the sleeve.
Side one has five tracks and side two four. If you'd like to know what they are please ask.

On side one the number is 131392-S/CN 1605/S and on side two the number is 131393-S/CN 1605/S.

Side one is timed at 28' 35" and side two 28' 28".

As far as quality goes: I would say near mint/excellent.
Given the age of the recording it is in extremely good condition.
There is the occasional bit of very light surface, and over the course of the two sides one or two "pops".

The vinyl looks clean and overall a very enjoyable listen.

I doubt if I have played this more than a handful of times over the years, certainly not recently.

You will see from feedback left by others who have dealt with me that I grade my items quite conservatively, so you can bid with confidence.
I always play the items before listing and try to assess honestly.

For your information I am not a "dealer" and this is not my business.
I am just a man with a large collection - most of which I hardly ever play - so doesn't seem to be much point in keeping them!

Again from the feedback you can see that the packaging I use is always of good quality and strong.
I always ship the discs out of the "main" sleeve in their poly-lined sleeves to avoid seam splits.
