Description
1981 Some Bizzare Australia LP: Collectors Edition Volume 6. Contains previously unreleased versions of: Tainted Love, Frustration, Metro MRX, Seedy Films. All 4 are early, minimal and cold wave studio versions (Even Tainted Love is much colder in this version. As laid out by this record, Soft cell could well have been the next Snowy Red rather than the pop sensations they mutated into). I've read that these are, in fact, some very early Peel sessions, but cannot confirm that. They are quite different from any single or album versions. At any rate, this is Soft Cell at their most cold and minimal best. Vinyl is VG++. Metallicly printed cover has light ringwear.
