DESCRIPTION

 Third  album of the legendary classic Greek acid Psychedelic  Group "Socrates Drank the Conium", came out with a new outstanding work in 1973 (The album also issued in USA!!!). Full of the aggressive talent of the trio, (Spathas, Tourkogiorgis, Trantalidis)  first line up, a second guitar which has been added  (G. Doukakis) , makes the album a piece of history of the Greek Scene. 

As you might know the group is influenced by the Cream and Hendrix work but they created their own underground heavy psych sound with impressive guitar moments by the best Greek Guitarist of the era, John Spathas. This album is heavier and I could add, "darker"  than the previous 2, with some new elements of southern rock into their unique sound.

In terms of rarity this one is not only the most sought after but most rare as well. This is the very first press with the mat gatefold cover

 

FORMAT 12" LP  LABEL   INTERNATIONAL POLYDOR 2421030 (made in Greece 1973)

SLEEVE: EX (there is a trace of sicker on back and a seem split 1 inch but very clean indeed)

RECORD:VG+ (the vinyl has few visible hairlines plays much better)
