Description
LOVELY COPY OF MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - "Kate Of Coalbrookdale" Jon & Mike Raven (Argo ZFB 29) STEREO. Recorded in 1971, this VERY RARE item features both Jon & Mike Raven, plus Pete Sage and Jean Ward. Tracks include "Brisk Young Butcher", "Brave Collier Lads", "The Rose Of Cashmere" etc etc. The album is, in fact, a collection of songs that "grew out of the troubled times of the Industrial Revolution", according to the sleeve notes. This item is in BEAUTIFUL CONDITION, the vinyl looks and plays in MINT CONDITION, the sleeve is also in GREAT CONDITION, save for one small dedication written on the rear cover - "With all my love Dave"(See scan). I am also offering on EBay this week more MEGA-RARE UK FOLK LPs, including Shelagh McDonald's "Stargazer", One, Two & Three's "Black Pearls & Green Diamonds" , PLUS I AM ALSO OFFERING two ORIGINAL UK DECCA SINGLES by One, Two & Three "Black Pearl" PLUS a copy of Sam's Friends "If I Gave You My Love"(One, Two & Three in another guise!!) - both DEMO COPIES!!
If you have any questions about this record, or any of my items, please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy to oblige!! As usual with my items, there is No Reserve, and a low starting bid price. Thanks for looking in and Good Luck should you decide to bid! Due to a recent increase in bogus bidders, I have to inform bidders with 0 Feedback that I will automatically cancel their bids, unless I am contacted by that bidder prior to any bid being placed. I always try to be accurate about my descriptions and grading, but on the very rare occasions that there is a mis-grading, I ALWAYS offer a full, unconditional refund. My records are always sent by 1st Class Post, protected within TWO cardboard “stiffeners”, and then placed in a professional standard Mailing Envelope, specially designed for either 7” and 12” records. I also offer a generous postage discount for multi-purchases. Thanks for looking in and Good Luck should you decide to bid!!
