Description
You are bidding on a super rare SMASHING PUMPKINS flexi-disc featuring the song Daughter, originally part of the short-lived but highly influential Reflex Magazine (this one is from Issue #23, but is flexi-disc #22).
The flexi-disc plays at 33 1/3 and was produced by EVA-TONE and made in the USA (Clearwater, FL.)
This is a one-owner item (I pulled it from the magazine myself as a subscriber from the magazine issued April, 1992. This is over one year prior to the release of SMASHING PUMPKINS commercial breakthrough, SIAMESE DREAM.
Though there are no agreed-upon published figures on quantity issued, it is estimated that distribution was limited to around 1000 copies. A rare and highly sought after disc, I am pricing it competitively due to a small fold on the bottom left and a small dent on the bottom right. However, this is how it was pulled from the magazine after it was delivered via mail at the time of issue. I tested the record, and it did play all the way through, however. Sound quality is what you might expect from a 30+ year old magazine issued flexi-disc. Disc is sold as-is; please see pictures for condition details.
