Description
SMALL FACES Small Faces ORIGINAL UK FIRST ALBUM, released on the RED DECCA LABEL, in 1966, catalogue number LK 4790. MATRIX NUNMBERS READ XARL-7217-4A and XARL-7218-3A.
The record sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. Faults include some surface laminate creases, mostly around the edges, small light corner/laminate crease on the bottom right hand side. Corners have rubs, and there is some slight wear on the sleeve record insert edge. Small edge knock/tear/indent on the bottom sleeve edge. Back of sleeve has surface wear/grubby marks owing to age and some record sleeve ring wear evident. Record sleeve is still solid with a very good appearance; record sleeve has no bad rips, no bad tears, no heavy creasing, split seems or missing pieces. Record comes with the original record company inner sleeve.
Record labels are in EXCELLENT++ condition, with all the print clearly visible, and with no label damage. Spindle hole marks indicate light to moderate playing, with no spindle hole wear evident!
Both record playing surfaces retain there original glossy bright sheen. Record playing surfaces are EXCELLENT in appearance. Some surface marks are evident but these are mainly ultra light feather light surface scuffs, consisting off fine line/hair line types (difficult to see and you will have to look closely at the record under a strong light to see them). However there are a few more visible surface scuff marks showing, again these are all feather light surface scuffs, with absolutely nothing heavy and nothing that you can feel!!! The record has been play graded to check the sound quality. The record plays mostly EXCELLENT BOTH SIDES, some light background crackles are evident on the run in grooves, and a few occasional places where you will hear some very light background crackle (e.g. near the end of track 2 on side one). The record’s sound displays no bad crackles, no clicks, no pops and does not jump.
Record is fully guaranteed as described, and I offer a no quibble money back guarantee if not happy with the record.
