LP SMAK - SMAK
(`RTV Ljubljana` LP 1079)
Smak was fantastic Yugoslavian rock band from 70`s. They recorded
some excellent LP`s then and they were great rock attraction in old
Yugoslavia. Their concets were something special. Radomir Mihajlovic
Tocak was leader of the band, he played guitar with many feelings and
very bluesy, and he was the best Yugoslavian rock guitarist ever. Smak
was quintet (vocal, guitar, bass, drums, organ), and all members were
excellent musicians. This is their first LP, recorded in 1975. A side
has 4 songs: 3 excellent hard rockers & one long electric blues. B side
has only one song of 19 minutes, it`s progressive rock. Gatefold cover
is excellent. Vinyl is excellent, plays nice.
