Description
Sly Stone "Babies Making Babies" Reel to Reel "Master Tape" Out take is written on the disc but the time seems the same (within a second) of the Album version.
I haven't listened to it but I found it with a bunch of L.A. studio tapes that were legit but mostly easy listening/soft jazz stuff from the same era.
The Outer box says: Colombia Recording Studio 829 Folsom St. San Francisco CA 94107 MASTER Date: 2/27/73 Client: Epic #32 POP Program: Sly Stone Studio: B Co. Engr: BG Re. Egr: PR/RS/WG Job No. 99994 Tape Speed : 15 Two Track
Under Title it says 0(empty set) Tone
The front of the box lists Babies Making Babies Skin I'm In Que Sera Sera If You Want Me To Stay Keep on Dancing I Don't Know(Rough Mix only) BUT INSIDE there isn' t much tape on the reel . LIke an inch and a half which makes it look like the sheet inside is right and that it is only Babies Making Babies.. It does have Out Take written on it by the engineer-but you are pretty much bidding on a mystery! No guarantees this is an outtake.

JUST NOW LOOKED AT THE BOX SPINE AND I NOTICED IT SAYS "206-1/4-2500-RO. THIS MAKES IT 1/4" TAPE. I'M SORRY THAT I ASSUMED IT WAS 1/2" BUT THE TAPE IS ONLY 1/4" WIDE! MANY APOLOGIES!
