SLOWDIVE - Beach Song 7" Flexidisc SUNDAY RECORDS
ATTENTION!
THIS IS A MUST HAVE for every true C86, Leamington Spa, Indiepop collector!
This is a very, very rare and extremely hard to find 7" flexidisc released around 1992 on the fantastic American Indiepop label Sunday Records although the band had already a few records out on the great CREATION label back then.
Songs are absolute brilliant noise, shoegazing, My Bloody Valentine-sque work of art.
Here are some word from the band to this release:
Nick Chaplin tells where the tracks come from: "They were from the original session for the 'slowdive' ep. Two songs from the same tape, 'Slowdive' and 'Avalyn' were used on our first ep. We didn't re-record them."
And Pippin brings the following information: "...the sound quality is not too good. The music sounds like Ride when it comes to speed and use of guitars, though the traditional Slowdive-sound is present." (taken from a Scandinavian disography page)
Record is in a nearly excellent condition, cover as well. No inserts but lyrics on the sleeve.
The flexi is in colour BLUE.
