SLAYER - Show No Mercy ; Metal Blade Records ; 1st Pressing - beige colored record inlay ; . From personal collection/original owner (not a professional record seller). Played limited number of times, usually 1 to 2 times for recording to tape prior to storing. Bid with confidence. My descriptions are honest and as accurate as possible. A review of my feedback will attest to the quality of the items sold. EXTREMELY RARE !!! THIS IS A "TRUE" 100% AUTHENTIC 1st PRESSING OF SLAYER'S DEBUT ALBUM! There seems to be a lot of confusion about what is a "REAL" 1st pressing on Metal Blade Records. I have seen a lot of people over the years make claims about 2nd and 3rd issue Show No Mercy records as being 1st pressings. I have added a picture of the back cover, which is the most idenifying feature of a 1st pressing album cover. You will notice that it does not have the Restless Records logo and address in the lower-right corner. That information was added to all subsequent issues. As well, the vinyl has a beige colored record inlay (label) with the bloody blade. A silver colored inlay with the same design, and a beige/tan inlay with a chain ring encircling the label are NOT 1st Pressings.
