A must have for all Chicago punk emo ska collectors!  A rarity indeed! THIS WAS THE VERY FIRST RELEASE from SLAPSTICK!!  Featuring 2 songs by Slapstick ("Yellow Plaid", "Brotherman") and 2 songs from Tommyrot ("It'll Move", "Spoon") out on Banter Records from 1993.  A friend of mine picked this up at some VFW show back in the day. Maybe played a couple of times then filed away for - jesus - 15 years. Can it possibly be that long?

As we all know Dan Andriano is currently in Alkaline Trio played bass for this band way back in the early 90's. And this is the only SLAPSTICK record I can think of that pre-dates their horns!   Slapstick fans should get a kick out of the hornless ska ditties. 

Tommyrot. More Chicago punk history here!  Former Alkaline Trio drummer Glenn Porter played in this band as well Sean Seeling from Apocalypse Hoboken.  From what I can also tell Tommyrot included one of the Caterer (Smoking Popes) brothers. Basically an unplayed record for 15 years in excellent condition!  Good luck!
