Description

SLADE - COLLECTORS "PROMO COPY" "NIGHT STARVATION" RARE EX + CONDITION 1980.
As the songs lyrics suggest, this record was mainly about 'sex' and so radio play wasn't easy to achieve.
Also, Slade were in the doldrums and a period of stagnation and therefore, when released, this single didn't sell many copies at all. Only released in the UK, this must be one of the hardest to come by 'promo' copies of any later day Slade singles.
Released on June 13th 1980, just weeks before Slade's big comeback at the Reading Festival.
Side 1 Night Starvation Side 2 When I'm Dancin' I Ain't Fightin'
It has been in my collection since bought as a rare item in 1980 and as far as I remember is unplayed. (I had and played the song on the "Six of the Best" - 6 track EP instead).
Low starting price. Comes in a plain card sleeve.  Posted next day 1st class. Check my 100% feedback.
