Description

Skull Snaps
S/T
GSF USA 1973 GSF-S-1011

No much introduction needed. Contains the heavily sampled classic break from "It's a new day" sampled by Eric B. & Rakim, Gang Starr, EPDM, Mobb Deep, MC Solaar, The Prodigy, Peanut Butter Wolf, MF Doom and countless others. For the soul fans there are also nice songs such as "Didn't I Do It To You". I don't know if this is the very first original pressing, but it has an old feeling with heavy cardboard gatefold cover and the record is a good quality pressing. If you know how to check the originality, let me know. Very minor edge wear on the cover and 1 cm seam split on top right backcover. Some unaudible paper scuffs and minor surface noise on the record. Great NM/EX copy.

I just received a message someone claiming that the record has never been rerealesed with "I'm your pimp" on the cover, so this must be original. However, as the opinions seem to diverse, I cannot guarantee that this is the very original.
