Description
SKANSKROCK I – COMPI LP SWE'82 – SILVERMOUNTAIN / BLACK ROSE
This is a 16 track compilation LP from Sweden, featuring a most diverse mix of bands, and musical styles, from Pop and PopRock to HardRock. What is special about this LP is that it holds THE 1ST VINYL APPEARANCE OF SILVERMOUNTAIN; this is the song “SHE NEEDS” which never appeared on LP afterwards. This is classic HardRock in the styles of DEEP PUPRLE and RAINBOW, showered with a lot of guitar a la Blackmoore and Hammond solos. Completely different from their later material and very rare indeed! Other memorable bands are KONTRA (melodic HardRock / 70's) and BLACK ROSE (NWOBHM styled). Other bands are pretty mellow, and Rock / Pop oriented, most of which are sung in Swedish language, and really not worth listening. This LP is for completists, or die-hard SILVERMOUNTAIN fans,

GRADING AND PACKAGING:
I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.
I mail all packages by airmail-post, FREE of charge. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
Hi, Paul here... I have been a collector ever since the early 80's, as well as I have been actively involved in the (Underground) Metal scene throughout the 80's and 90's. Now it is time to part ways with most of my collection that holds all formats (demo tapes, vinyl, fanzines, memorabilia), and all genres – from NWOBHM and melodic HardRock to Thrash, Power and DeathMetal, so stay tuned for more obscure items that I will be auctioning. Metal on...!
