Description

FROM MY OWN SHELVES: AN INCREASINGLY HARD TO FIND AND RARE SKA / ROCKSTEADY SINGLE IN VERY GOOD TO VERY GOOD MINUS CONDITION. HUGELY RARE ORIGINAL EARLY PRINCE BUSTER. THIS SINGLE IS 55 YEARS OLD

THIS UK PRESSING IS INCREASINGLY RARELY SEEN ON EBAY AND IS IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE BEST BUSTER TUNES OUT THERE.

**FABULOUS UK 1ST PRESSING ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super SKA / ROCKSTEADY SINGLE from PRINCE BUSTER 'ROUGHRIDER' / '127 ORANGE STREET' was released on the UK FAB RECORDS label in 1968**.

**CONDITION - PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BELOW**.

The SINGLE ('A' SIDE) PLAYGRADES IN MOSTLY VERY GOOD (VG) (INTRO IS NOISIER AT VERY GOOD/MINUS (VG-) condition.
It has survived with quite a lot of non deep surface scuffing (not greatly affecting sound) and a few larger scuffs. There is a bit of crackle in quieter passages/run in but NO JUMPS OR SKIPS. The 'B' side grades a level lower for deeper scuff marks and more noise but not spoiling the track and again no jumps or skips.

THE 'A' SIDE LABEL IS INBETWEEN GOOD PLUS AND VERY GOOD MINUS AND HAS AGE RELATED WEAR, WRITING AND STICKER RESIDUE. THE 'B' SIDE LABEL IS VG++ (see pics for exact condition)
It is supplied in a plain white sleeve and a poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record rarely comes up for sale on EBAY.

I grade strictly to the Rare Record Grading System and include a definition of grading below:
Rare Record Collector Grading: VG/- (VERY GOOD / MINUS)
VERY GOOD / MINUS:  The record has obviously been played many times and displays minor deterioration in sound quality with low level background noise and possibly the odd tick, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Description:
