Six Organs of Admittance: The Manifestation 12" (US, Badabing). Here's something you don't see everyday. While all of you Six Organs heads know and love the clear vinyl, one sided (and now long out of print and expensive in its own right) REGULARLY ISSUED commercial version of this classic release, what few know is that there was a TINY, MICRO demonstration run (less than 20 copies) pressed on black vinyl to be used as a demo TEST PRESSING. These pressings are used to test the fidelity of a pressing before the final run. While musically the same as the clear vinyl version, the Ben Chasny hand done etching on the flip side of the LP is MUCH MORE VISIBLE in this black vinyl, and hence a UNIQUE COLLECTIBLE ITEM for Chasny fans and collectors - and perhaps the ultimate collectable for SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE fans! If you're looking for early HOLY GRAIL items from this scene, look no further! This is as cool an item in this field as we've ever had for sale! I've seen the regular, clear vinyl version of this sell for $200, so my minimum bid is reasonable, as we're talking a handful of these on black vinyl, folks! Wise nutters will use buy-it-now to catch this ride. A one time chance, you won't see another black vinyl copy! Condition of vinyl is excellent (just shy of mint, probably played twice!) with a couple small, light scuffs visible only under very bright light (like most new records you buy today). It comes in a blank white jacket with no artwork, just the pen scribe (6ooA "The Manifest") as seen in scan, on the play side label... - note - immediate payment required!!
