Invitation to the S.R. for Supper
Pavilion Music PVL-005

Not only the rarest Six Organs release, but could be the holy grail of the New Weird America. Edition of 61 copies (this is number #38) lathe cut 8" clear vinyl. Cover is completely hand made, painted black over another record jacket, and hand painted with Chasny's signature style graphics (think Angus Maclise or Marian Zazeela). Only seen one of these for auction last year and it sold for over $300. Low reserve! all serious bids considered. check auctions for more by Ben.

San Franciscan Ben Chasny has been a crucial factor behind the current revitalization of the Southern California psychedelic rock scene, as a member of Plague Lounge as well as the F You Too and as a contributor to Comets on Fire. But he is best known as the sole permanent member of Six Organs of Admittance. When playing under this name, Chasny combines nimble acoustic guitar ramblings with assorted drones to create minimalist psychedelic folk with tinges of traditional Asian music.
