On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called "Bookends" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Orange CBS label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF SIMON & GARFUNKEL'S RAREST UK LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (LIKE THIS!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - WITH A LAMINATED COVER & COLOUR POSTER!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT CAME WITH A LAMINATED COVER!!!!  HOWEVER AFTER ONLY A YEAR IN PRODUCTION - THIS LAMINATED COVER WAS DROPPED, AND AFTER 1969 - ALL LATER COPIES NEVER HAD IT - AND THEY CAME IN A VERY POOR QUALITY UNLAMINATED COVER INSTEAD!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL HUGE COLOUR POSTER!!!!  NOW I CERTAINLY DONT CLAIM TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT SIMON AND GARFUNKEL LPs - HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MULTIPLE SOURCES THAT A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST PRESSINGS WERE INDEED SUPPLIED WITH THIS ULTRA RARE POSTER!!!!  AND I HAVE SEEN THIS ON AT LEAST 3 OR 4 OCCASIONS BEFORE.  THE ONLY OTHER WAY TO GET THIS POSTER - WAS IN A U.S. 1ST PRESSING.  HOWEVER, AS THEY ARE EXTREMELY VALUABLE IN THEIR OWN RIGHT - I FIND IT HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT SOMEONE WOULD TAKE A POSTER FROM ONE OF THOSE, AND PUT INSIDE A UK 1ST PRESSING!!!!  AND BESIDES, I KNOW THIS LP WAS OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON FOR MANY YEARS, PRIOR TO ME OBTAINING IT.  OF COURSE, FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, AND I WILL ADD IT TO THE LISTING.  HOWEVER, AFTER SPEAKING TO MULTIPLE SOURCES, PLUS MY PREVIOUS FINDS WITH THIS POSTER INSIDE A UK 1ST PRESSING, AND ALSO THE FACT THAT TAKING ONE FROM A U.S. 1ST PRESSING (WHICH ARE VALUABLE IN THEIR OWN RIGHT) WOULD BE UTTER FOLLY - I AM VERY CERTAIN INDEED, THAT THIS POSTER CAME WITH THIS UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE VERY DAY OF RELEASE BACK IN 1968!!!!  THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION, ALMOST NEVER SEEN 100% COMPLETE - AND IS VERY VERY RARE INDEED LIKE THIS, SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE ORANGE CBS LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS HUGE COLOUR POSTER, AND 1ST PRESS 'UPTON' LAMINATED COVER (LATER ONES WERE UNLAMINATED INSTEAD!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SBPG 63101 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Orange CBS label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light hairline traces, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE HUGE COLOUR POSTER IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - WITH NO DAMAGE AT ALL!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Upton' Laminated Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), STUNNING shiny 'mirror-like' laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
