Description

This is the original UK LP by SIMON & GARFUNKEL, SOUNDS OF SILENCE, Stereo 1st Pressing, released in March 1966 on the orange textured label SBPG 62690. Matrix numbers are,  SIDE 1:-  SBPG 62690 A2,  SIDE 2:-  SBPG 62690 B4. SIDE 1 at the 11 0'clock position has D 21 stamped which indentifies this as a 1st Pressing, side 2's stampers are:-  2 / T.

The original 1966 UK 1st issue  Stereo E.J DAY non- flipback cover with 'Patents Pending' credits is in a STUNNING MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, the laminated front maintains all it's original vibrant colour, whilst the back is beautifully clean and white. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the slim spine is fully intact and perfecly readable.

The vinyl is in a STUNNING MINT- condition, absolutely gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre, I have played the vinyl (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays a STUNNING MINT, the quality of this RARE 1966 UK Stereo 1st Pressing is OUSTANDING, playing with crisp clear clarity!, delivering a BREATHTAKING warmth and depth to this classic LP, A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!.

The original 1st Press orange textured CBS label's are in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole shows no wear, the label's maintain their bright vibrant orange colour, STUNNING label's!.

The vinyl is housed in a white inner sleeve and in MINT condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.

Altogether a STUNNING copy of this RARE 1966 UK Stereo 1st Press LP by SIMON & GARFUNKEL, SOUNDS OF SILENCE.
