Description
Rare 1970 LP " Pass the Distance," by Simon Finn. Cat Mushroom 100MR2. The LP has the original insert. Tracks are:
Side A
Very close friend / The courtyard / What a day / Fades (Pass the distance) / Jerusalem.
Side B
Where's your master gone ? / Laughing till tomorrow / Hiawatha / Patrice / Big white car.
The record has no major defects. There are some minor surface marks, but there are no scratches. The sound quality is extremely good all the way through the record. The sound quality is maintained even on the inner tracks which would suggest that it has been played on a decent turntable. There is some background surface noise which can be heard between tracks and in some of the quieter passages, but it never intrudes into the music. I doubt that there are many original copies that still play this wellI.Using the Record Collector Magazine grading system I would grade the record as being between VG and excellent. The insert is in excellent condition. The sleeve condition is as follows : Front Cover :Surface damage in the top left and top centre. There is a minor stain bottom left corner and a faint pen mark bottom right corner. Back cover is execellent. LP will be despatched in a proprietary LP mailer with stiffening.
