Some words on this issue: SILOAH: “S/T” (AMBER SOUNDROOM) “Siloah from Munich was an underground band, who did release its first album in 1970. The LP is self titled, but sometimes also called Säureadler , since one of the tracks was called Acid Eagle referring to lysergic acid derived from ergot fungus, the basis of LSD which had become well-known at this time. Anyhow the music of Siloah and some other bands of that time can only be understood against the background of their experiments with psychedelic drugs. One played hippie-psych-folk; everyone was free to do and play whatever he/she liked. You can hear this when listening to the long track Aluminium Wind, especially. The original-LP is impossible to find today, so the official 180-gram vinyl reissue ( limited to 500 copies ) comes just in time." - Amber Soundroom. Very highly recommended!
