Description
Led Zeppelin II LP from 1969.
Interesting item this one in that it has a signature on the back of the gatefold cover as seen in the photo. I don't know who's it is as i am not an expert particularly on Led Zeppelin. You may recognise it yourself if you're into the group. It has been done in what looks like black marker pen, but whether it was signed recently or back in 1970 i wouldn't know.
The other interesting part of this is a concert ticket stub from a concert they did on Friday 9 Jan 1970 at the Albert Hall. There is also a newspaper cutting from the time with a review of the concert saying about an amazing 20 minute drum solo by John Bonham and various other interesting facts. I get the feeling whoever this used to belong to may just poosibly have been a bit of a fan. These two items are stuck to the inside of the gatefold cover.
The condition of the vinyl is well used and there is clear evidence of surface noise and crackles but plays fine. I played the first track so this is how i know how it sounds.
The gatefold cover again is a bit tatty but perfectly ok.
