Overview
This listing is for a pre-owned copy of The Capitol Studio Sessions by Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
It is the vinyl release, and comes on 2 black LPs housed in a gatefold cover.
Each record is stored in a semi-gloss paper sleeve with photos of Jeff Goldblum and track info.
I’ve added some soft plastic inner sleeves to give the records some extra protection.
This particular copy is signed by Jeff Goldblum on the front cover.
Condition
The record gatefold is in very good condition. You can see from the detail photos that there are some light micro scratches on both front and back just from normal storage and use.
The paper sleeves are in good condition, with a couple notes. The black one with Jeff in shades has some small bends near the bottom edge. The blue one has a bend near the top of Jeff’s head on the front. And it has a seam split on one edge.
The records are in very good condition. There are a couple small scratches on Side B, but not in the playable area. I maintain this regularly with a record brush. So while it’s not 100% free from dust or pops, the sound is very good nonetheless.
I’m shipping this in a poly bag for some extra protection. The bag itself has a little shelf wear. So, if you plan to display the record in it, you may choose to replace it with one of your own.
