Description
This is a must have for the serious jazz collector. I am the second owner of this record, the original owner got it signed by the Duke and Russell in 1953 in my hometown.
The vinyl has held up nicely and is a strong VG+. The autographs are on the back cover, and are written in blue pen. I have not had these authenticated but have taken them to autograph enthusiasts who believe both to be genuine.
The only problem with the cover is the top seam is splitting. Would be an absolutely beautiful piece to have on your wall!
The last picture is taken from ellingtonweb(dot)ca. On August 31/1953 Duke Ellington played at the palace theatre where this piece was signed.
