Description
For sale here is the classic blues LP "Live Wire/Blues Power" by the great Albert King. It's the US original, released in 1968 on Stax Rerocrds with the catalogue number STS 2003 and the red "Snapping Finger" logo. It was SIGNED by Albert King with a red felt tip pen on back.
Provenance: This LP comes from the collection of one of the main European r&b collectors and researchers. He started collecting autographs in the mid 60s and met many important blues musicians in the ensuing decades. Before his death in 2021, I bought a sizeable part of his huge record collection that also included hundreds of SIGNED albums. The signature is therefore 100 % authentic and genuine and comes with a detailed "Letter of Provenance". Please buy with confidence and don't hesitate to enquire for more info, if necessary!
Condition: The vinyl looks clean, plays VG+ with only occasional light background noise. The cover including the signature is in strong VG++ condition. I grade it VG+/VG++.
