This was a Welsh 5-piece female vocal Folk band known for their close harmony singing and the blending of traditional folk and dissonant harmonies, with Caryl Parry Jones a well-known member of Sidan.
The band recorded this, their only album in 1975 which is now a much sought-after fine example of Welsh folk music.
This band released an EP in 1973, & this, their sole LP is recommended highly for ‘a totally outworldly and serenely beautiful touch with five-part harmonies, rhythm changes, fuzz leads and whatever you could wish for. All tracks stay firmly in the Welsh tradition, but as most are co-written by Caryl, they have an original touch, especially obvious in the strange wriggling harmonies, which is sorely missing on most albums of this type.
