Description

Fabulous recording from Sheffield Lab of a first recording of an American conductor conducting a Russian orchestra.  Works by Shostakovich, Glazunov, Copland, Griffes and Ives.  The Russian works are conducted by Lawrence Leighton Smith and the American works are conducted by the Russian conductor, Dimitri Kitayenko.  Great sound and perfirmances on this SEALED LP.
