Original 1964 UK 7" on Rio Records Limited (R51). Side A features the iconic calypso-soul crossover “Shame and Scandal in the Family,” a vibrant and danceable classic made famous by Shawn Elliot. Side B features “My Girl,” a soulful gem with orchestral arrangement by Sammy Lowe and production by the legendary Hugo & Luigi. The vinyl is graded VG+ with light surface marks and plays through cleanly with strong audio. Labels are legible but show spindle wear and centre ring markings (see photos). Housed in a generic white replacement sleeve. Perfect for collectors of early soul, calypso, or 1960s crossover grooves. Rare UK pressing with Roulette Records New York source.
